Magnolia Behavioral Hospital of East Texas’s Bridges Dual Diagnosis Treatment Center offers inpatient treatment to individuals aged 18 years and older, who suffer from co-occurring psychiatric illness & substance abuse.
The program is designed for individuals exhibiting any of the following symptoms:
- Mood Disorders (unexplained mood changes)
- Bipolar Disorder or Depression
- Anxiety, Excessive Fears, or Panic Attacks
- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Behaviors
- Unresolved Grief or Loss
- Suicidal, Homicidal, or Violent Thoughts
- Prescription Medication Abuse
- Illegal/Illicit Narcotic/Barbiturate/Hallucinogenic Drug Abuse
- Excessive Alcohol Abuse
Our comprehensive dual diagnosis treatment center is tailored specifically to the personality & needs of the patient, in order to promote optimal results. Our multi-disciplinary team consists of leading psychiatrists, social workers, nurses, mental health therapists, and caretakers, all of whom are experienced in the field of dual-diagnosis treatment. Our treatment consists of detoxification, psychiatric assessment, medication evaluations and management, group psychotherapy, family education, nutritional consultations, recreational therapy, illness education, 12-Step Programs, spiritual education, relapse prevention, individual/family/group therapy, and discharge planning. Thirty-seven percent (37%) of alcohol abusers and fifty-three percent (53%) of drug abusers also have at least one serious mental illness.
